Lohaghat on the banks of Lohawati River in Tanakpur district is one of the important places for its beautiful temples. This ancient town of Lohaghat has immense historical and mythological importance which attracts a number of tourists.

It is beautiful lake situated 56km from Champawat at an astounding elevation of 1500mts above sea level.




Purnagiri Temple:
Situated 21kms from Tanakpur,Purnagiri Temple is one of the 108 Siddha Peeths.The temple is flooded by devotees during navratras.



Baleshwar Temple:
Mayawati Ashram is situated amidst scenic surroundings and it attracts large number spiritualists from all over the world.







Munsiyari:
Munsiyari is a quaint hamlet situated in one of the uppermost part of Kumaon region in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand state.







Narayan Ashram:
Narayan Ashram is a spiritual cum-socio educational center situated about 136 km north of Pithoragarh and 14 km fromTawaghat, in Uttaranchal.
